In the historical town of Lagos and close surrounding areas there is a wealth of activities including:
- 3 golf courses - Palmares Boavista and Parque da Floresta, all within 10 - 25 minutes drive from the quinta.
- Watersports centres at Luz, Burgau and Meia Praia for scuba diving, windsurfing, waterskiing, sailing, parascending and banana boat riding. Deep sea fishing, day trip to Sagres, dolphin spotting and champagne cruises can all be arranged at Lagos Marina. Tennis, squash and bowls are available at local hotels and clubs. Further afield are 2 spectacular water parks - Aqualand and Slide & Splash, also Zoomarine is a good day out with the children.
For those interested in orthinology or guided walks excursions can be organised locally.
