Casa Branca is a modern detached 2 storey villa which was completed in 1998. Constructed with many UK building standard i.e. double glazing, damproof course and cavity wall insulation. Built on the edge of the now exclusive Monte Lemos Country club site. The owners took particular care in the design of the villa to ensure that it was bright and airy and yet functional for large families.
The villa is well situated in Praia da Luz and a 10 minute walk will take you into the village centre where there are a few supermarkets, pharmacy, post office and restaurants. The village retains its charming atmosphere and many old fisherman’s cottages and cobbled streets remain.
Praia da Luz has a lovely long golden sandy beach which is gently shelving, making it safe for bathers of all ages. Here, there are sun beds and shades for hire, a water sports centre plus beach shops and beach-side cafes.

A LITTLE ABOUT THE ALGARVE.
The Algarve is the southern area of Portugal, served by Faro airport, and now boasts a new motorway extending it's length. The Atlantic ocean surrounds it's shores with a host of beautiful sandy beaches, bays and coves. They have 300 days of sunshine here with temperatures rising to the mid 30's in the peak season and a respectable 15 - 20 during winter months, coastal breezes ensure that it is never too humid and sticky. Even inland there are areas of natural beauty up the mountains to Monchique or around the Barragem da Bravura. The Portuguese people are extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful; most speak some English especially along the coastal areas.

In the historical town of Lagos and close surrounding areas there is a wealth of activities including:
  • 3 golf courses - Palmares Boavista and Parque da Floresta, all within 15 minutes drive from the villa.
  • Watersports centres at Luz, Burgau and Meia Praia for scuba diving, windsurfing, waterskiing, sailing, parascending and banana boat riding. Deep sea fishing, day trip to Sagres, dolphin spotting and champagne cruises can all be arranged at Lagos Marina. Tennis, squash and bowls are available at local hotels and clubs. Further afield are 2 spectacular water parks - Aqualand and Slide & Splash, also Zoomarine is a good day out with the children.
For those interested in orthinology or guided walks excursions can be organised locally.
